The
reasons for purchasing and operating this trailer are:
1. The Band uses a great
deal of capital expense equipment for performances outside of the school building
during the year.
2. The equipment is subjected to transportation damage due to the use of rental
trucks that are not outfitted for musical instrument and uniform storage.
3. The useful life of the equipment could be extended with proper transportation
storage thus saving the Johnson City Schools money.
4. Money saved on capital replacements could be used to better facilitate the
band program for more students.
The maintenance and inspection of the trailer is an ongoing item not to mention the expense that is incurred to move the trailer to every home game (down town Johnson City), to every away game and to the 3 or 4 Band Competitions that the Science Hill Band participates in each year. Your ads help offset this cost from directly impacting the band budget and what the kids have to ultimately raise as part of their fund raisers. Your continued support yearly greatly reduces this burden and helps to offset these cost.
We have 2 size ads which we call a single size ad and a double size ad. The initial cost to have your graphics produced in either white or Science Hill yellow for both sides of the trailer is $300 for a single size ad and $600 for a double. The renewal cost for each year after that is a modest $120 for a single size ad and $240 for a double.
